A heartbreaking video on Instagram showed a Senior shelter dog named Cosmo, who did not understand why his human parent was not coming back to take him and his furry mate, Quelinda, home. The dog waited for his owner at the kennel door, looking absolutely heartbroken. The video has captured the hearts of many on social media. The caption of the post revealed, “This isn’t a video i wanted to make. Its sad it makes me cry their situation just sucks. I feel really terrible for both of them.” It continued, “And to see Cosmo waiting is breaking my heart. Quelinda will check the door every once in awhile. Even writing this I’m tearing up i just wish we could explain to them.”

The Instagram video started by giving a closer look at Cosmo, the senior shelter dog. He stood at his kennel door with hope in his eyes that his owner would return. He still did not understand that he had lost them forever. In the meantime, the text written over the clip read, “POV: your owner passed away, but you’re still waiting for them to come back.”

The clip then gave a look at Quelinda, the other fur baby, who is also a senior dog. The fur baby appeared to have understood what happened to them. There were clear traces of sadness on the dog’s face. The two fur babies are a bonded pair, and they deserve to find a new loving home where they can have each other.
