It’s not easy for dogs to spend the day with someone other than their owners unless they completely trust the third party or are friends with them. But it seems this pooch formed a great rapport with his dad’s friends. He enjoyed every bit of the new company. The pet parent shared the adorable video of his rescue pup and his friend, and needless to say, the clip received a lot of love, garnering more than 27K likes at the time of writing.

This rescue pup named Cactus is friendly, and this video on @cactustherescue is proof. The pup’s owner, Mike Brown, had to go out for a while. So, Cactus was left with one of Brown’s friends. And much to everyone’s surprise, the pooch and the friend had a great time together.

The clip shows Cactus sitting on the bed when Brown’s friend comes to the room and greets him with a smile. Looking at the human companion, the pup instantly starts wagging his tail, indicating he is happy to meet the human buddy.

Soon enough, the pup becomes comfortable with the new friend who lies on the bed and asks Cactus to join him, to which the pooch happily agrees and lies on his chest, cuddling and receiving rubs on his head.

But a few minutes later, the friend ends up sleeping with the pup on his side. “My best friend got dog napped me and sent this video,” explained Brown in the video.

However, looking at their bonding, the paw parent could not be happier. He confessed in the caption, “Never thought I’d get dog-napped, but honestly, this made me so happy. I love that my friends love Cactus, and that he feels so comfortable and loved around them. I was out for a bit this weekend, and he got to hang with one of his buddies instead. Safe to say he had a pretty great time without me.”

Soon after the upload, the clip drew a lot of attention and love from the netizens. One follower said, “Cactus is an adorable spoiled doggy!.” While another dog lover commented, “You’re a great fur daddy.”
